Good Cheer

I thought I would share a card that I coloured at Scrapping Turtle last week. This is a Stamping Bella Uptown girl stamp. Although it doesn't photograph there is lots of glitter to make this card shine. I love this image it reminds me of me and my sisters at Christmas.

Throwing Snowballs

We had a great time at KraftinKimmie day last Saturday. Among the many make and take cards I coloured this cutie LUCAS throwing snowballs. It reminds me of how determined the kids were, you can see the mischief in his eyes. I used Carta Bella - Winter Fun papers with the Snow Day Lucas! stamp from KrafinKimmie's new release.

Erin's Day

Happy Birthday Erin. This image of Capri, from the Enchanted Hollow collection goes out to my niece Erin. The paper is The Garden Tea Party from DCWV, coloured with copics.

Fishing

This is one of the Art Impression cards that I made at the Scrapping Turtle class with Noel. This guy is all tied up with fishing line with a tiny hook and feather on the side. Glossy accents make his boots and fishing line shine.

Summer Fun

Summer fun with Kraftin Kimmie image from the Krafty Klubhouse Kit- Going Places.
The paper is Lime Twist 6X6 pad Fly A Kite and the ribbon with white dots so that I could play along with the challenge.

Colour Challenge

These colours were a challenge for me. They are darker than I am used to stamping with. The colours are Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo and Crumb Cake. I stamped and embossed The flowers from Mixed Bunch on  the Cherry Cobbler designer paper and on Crumb Cake. The sentiment is from Curly Cute. I am off on vacation at the end of the month and need to take a few thank you cards so I took this opportunity to make a card and enter a challenge.

Happy Birthday Lance. I chose an image of a boy on the move. I should have put wings below your feet rather than a skateboard. Have a great day and best wishes in your next year of adventures.

It's your DAY

Even though it's YOUR day, don't you love how I managed to get ME in the picture! Haha what are friends for! I have chosen the Bella Stamp, Uptown Girls Pattie and Dottie Friends Forever. The papers are Basic Grey Out of Print and the flower was made with the MFT die.

Sending Sunshine

I made this card with a sketch over at the Create with Connie and Mary challenge blog. The papers are from Stamping Up in Bashful Blue, So Saffron and Perfect Plum. I used the bird builder punch and the Flower Daisy #2 Bigz Die. A corduroy button adorns the flower to give it a burst of sunshine.

Poppy

This week over at the Kraftin Kimmie blog the challenge is to add a sentiment. I don't usually add sentiments except maybe for Happy Birthday so that the cards can be used for any occasion but on this card I added the phrase that came with Poppy. I used the Basic Grey Plumeria papers and my go to favourite copics V12. V15, and V17 to colour. I added Stickles to her dress and to the MS Hydrangea flowers.

Mother's Day

This image from Kraftin Kimmie seemed perfect for Mother's Day. I coloured with copics and used Basic Grey   plumeria papers for the background. I just received the new MFT die to make the flowers.

This budding gardener is an image from the Springtime Lulu set from KraftinKimmie. The sunburst is a Karen Foster brad that adds a little bit of metal, although I thought I might qualify for the current challenge with the metal watering can. The papers are the new MME Miss Caroline Howdy Doody line. I can imagine that my mom will be working in her garden this weekend.

Beautiful music

This week the Penny Black Saturday challenge is SING-A-LONG. I attended a couple of concerts at the University where Eric was a star. The first a choir concert and then a classical guitar concert. Eric makes beautiful music. The image is Celloist by Penny Black, the papers are from Basic Grey.

Athena

Athena is a Krafin Kimmie stamp. I like the saying that comes with her, "there is no courage without fear!". I know that my friend has the courage to get through the chemo treatments once again so I made this card to inspire her. The paper is from SEI and has a shimmer that doesn't come through in the picture. The trim is a chain from Webster Pages.

This card image is a Cheryl Alger image from Krafin Kimmie. I coloured her with copics and added some glitter. The paper is Basic Grey-Kissing Booth. I punched out the sentiment that comes with the image with a StampinUp punch and added some ribbon and sparkle hearts to the bottom of the card.

Valentine Fairy

I stamped Silver Fairy and the Love ticket (Whimsy Stamps) on my new Beckett paper. The paper colours like a dream- thanks Laurie! The Nestability (#9&#11) that I used to cut her out also is thanks to Laurie.  I used the Basic Grey papers from the 6x6 pad called kissing booth that I picked up at One Crazy Stamper last week. A friend of mine crochet the flowers, which I am finding are a favourite that I can't resist adding to every card I have been making.

Kiddie Kards

This is a collection of Kid cards that I did using Kimmie stamps. Fireman Phil, Dancing Dylan and Princess Penny are Steven Leary images. I wanted them ready to give as Christmas gifts but luckily birthday cards are always needed.
