Happy B-day Linda

Happy Birthday Linda! Wow it seems like yesterday, the kids are all growing up so fast.
This stamp is KraftinKimmie- Lisette and I used Michele's amazing sketch over on the KraftinKimmie challenge blog. The papers are from Basic Grey's Indie Bloom. I added some pearls and stickles to give the cards a glittery look. I learned from Susanna Dean that all cards look better with Stickles.

Present for You

These hedgehogs are Penny Black - For You stamp. It seems whenever the boys "need" a birthday card they choose the hedgehogs so I thought I would make a couple to have on hand. The papers are Basic Grey - hello luscious 6X6 pad. I love the paper in these pads. The images are smaller, just perfect for cards. The fence is a Martha Stewart punch and the flowers were a gift that I have had in my "stash".  I sponged around the edges with Distressing Ink so that it would show up against the white card.

Happy B-day Miriam

Happy Birthday Miriam. This image if from My Favourite Things - Birthday Girl. I love the size of the cupcake that she is holding. I am sure it is chocolate. The crochet flower reminded me of the sun. August birthdays are lucky to have such nice weather.

Happy B-day Josh

I made this card to wish Joshua a happy birthday. His day is next week and he is turning 11. It has been a while since my boys were 11 so I will have to try to figure out what an 11 year old would like. The cute little mice are a Kraftin Kimmie stamp from Steven Leary called Birthday Friends. I did one in grey and one in brown to show how different the friends are. I distressed the paper (My Mind's Eye - Simply Delightful) with the Tim Holtz distress tool and then inked the edges with Old Paper Distress Ink to make it stand out a bit. I picked up the rosette at Michael's to add a finishing touch.
